i'm back! after a year of neglecting my DA i've decided to pick it up again
not much art worth showing tho so bear with me for a while. XD sorry for all the art i've missed from people i'm watching but i hope you'll forgive me that i'm not browsing through a year's worth of updates...

now to make some kick-ass artsies!

I've thought this over long and hard, and I've decided to delay lost souls 3. It will not be available at abunai 2008 but somewhere later this year.
Sorry about that, but the reason is that even though I really wanted to make my deadline my new internshiptimes just won't allow me. I'd have to work every night for the next 4 weeks and then maybe... MAYBE i'd make that deadline.
so that's one reason, the next is that my right elbow's still creaking from Lost souls 2 XD and i don't want my wrist to make that same sound.. (it's true!)

lastly, if I were to work day and night hasting to make that deadline, i worry about the quality of my work.(having to draw in the train and all) And I think that both my reading audience and this story deserves better quality than I can offer would i release it at abunai.

so... you'll just have to wait!

Hey everyone!

I'm sorry for not updating here for a while, and i'm not sure if that's gonna improve anytime soon. As usual I'm busy -_-
Busy with Lost Souls 3 and i'm also entering my third year of my gamedesign and development study.
Meaning that the next 6 months, i have to go work at a company to gain field experience. So the company that hired me is called GameHouse and specializes in short online games. I'll beworking as a leveldesigner on Delicious 3! (so many 3's in this journal!)
Anyway, I'm starting tomorrow and i'm a bit nervous and excited about it at the same time.

Other recent developments are: I've started playing World of Warcraft and Wii fit! Both are addictive and the latter is really good for me! (i've lost 4 pounds in a week! o.O)

so, hope you haven't lost all faith in me yet and I hope to see you soon!

I've finally completed Lost Souls 2 and it will be sold at the abunai 2007. If you can't come to that convention and would still like to purchase LS2 (or part 1) send me a note! we'll work something out!

Lost Souls is a story about a demon king, struggling with himself and his destiny.

so how am I? Tired... and school hasn't gotten easier this year but i'm satisfied as well. I'm making two flash games for school. My boyfriend and I are busy buying a house (XD) and i've already started on the script of lost souls 3.
Iwill be at the comicfair in houten this weekend, but sadly LS2 won't be back from the printer.

So I hope to see you at Houten and/or abunai!

Yesterday there was a comicsfair in kampen (netherlands) and, since manga is still relatively unknown in the netherlands, i went ther with a lot of other young dutch manga artists to promote manga and sell my own books^^
Sales were bad (as usual on such fairs) but i had a blast!
afterwards we were invited to dine with the other dutch comicbook artists so we sat at the table with famous (dutch) people like Jan kruis (jan, jans en de kinderen), Paul Geerts (suske &wiske/Bob &bobbette), Patty Klein (noortje) and there where many more!

I grew up with their comics so i was a bit overwhelmed (and shy) ^^ but it was an amazing day...
